Founded in 2013, Ultimate British Wrestling held their inaugural show in September of that year at Westminster Lodge in St Albans in front of a sell-out crowd of 400 fans and crowned their first ever British Heavyweight Champion in Rich N Famous.
Following this, UBW held a follow-up show in October of 2013 in Cambourne and attracted over 350 for a full house and second successful event.

In 2014 UBW debuted in Hitchin at the Centre For The Arts working in collaboration with the performing arts team and closed out the year with their first event in Bedfordshire at Royston’s Community Centre. Through 2015 UBW expanded into Shefford, Hemel Hempstead and Bedford, debuting a host of new talent and imported wrestlers from around the UK along with adding 2 new  Championships to the mix.

2016 saw UBW break into Cambridgeshire with a sold out event in Littleport at the Xmas special charity show for Little Miracles which drew 400 fans and raised over £4000 for the charity.

2017 was UBW’s biggest year to date, with new venues in Comberton and Biggleswade and a return to Royston. Rosters have expanded with 4 Championships now regularly defended, a growing Women’s division and a multitude of big name UK stars appearing.

2018 will see new ground broken with a brand new “Trios” championship to be defended nationwide through other promotions and the launch of Gender-neutrality, empowering the female wrestlers to work with the male wrestlers and challenge for any UBW championships equally.
