Spectrum Cambridge

ULTIMATE BRITISH WRESTLING are delighted to be in partnership with SPECTRUM cambridge charity

Spectrum is a Cambridgeshire based charity which looks after families with children with special and additional needs, as well as life changing illnesses. Spectrum's mission is to provide care and compassion to these families but also arranging various events for the members and the children that are supported through spectrum including activities such as day trips to the zoo and theme parks as well as trips to the cinema restaurants and the theatre.

We are so very proud to be associated spectrum and their efforts. The children that spectrum support adore the wrestlers and the amount of time and effort they spend in making a difference to these children’s lives.

The UBW family put on a special wrestling event for spectrum once a year where all members can come and meet the wrestlers in person and cheer on their favourite stars. But it is so much more than that. the roster often are seen giving up their time to talk to spectrum members and make themselves available for parties, photographs, autographs and really whatever the Kids need to make their day special. ubw stars also join spectrum on trips and events with the children. The wrestlers on the UBW roster understand about autism and are always keen to learn more and be as accommodating as possible for our families.

Thanks to  this partnership, many of the spectrum children and their families can now feel more confident going to events and shows on their own without the need of going with the events organised solely through the group.
The link with UBW and Spectrum comes from a Very personal and special relationship with the general manager Paul Ashe and Alex Knowles who before joining Spectrum worked as a referee with UBW for 4 years.

This growing partnership is only going to get stronger and we cannot wait for our Halloween extravaganza wrestling show with Spectrum it should be a great event!! fancy dress lots of cheering and plenty of fun.
